Sometimes you need something simple that works and out honey bottling set fits the bill! This was thought up by the owner, Presley, as a simple and cheap way to process his honey without an extractor.
This set is comprised of 2 buckets and a strainer bag. The top bucket has a solid lid and holes in the bottom, and the bottom bucket has a hole in the lid and a honey gate.
When we use this for our own honey, we cut the comb from the frame, crush it in a bowl, then dump it in the top bucket. There are holes at the bottom of the top bucket and a hole in the lid of the bottling bucket. A strainer bag can be used in either bucket. Honey flows into the bottom bucket, and by the time the bucket is full, its strained and ready to bottle! We generally let ours strain through overnight.
*Honey gate may not be installed on bottling bucket due to how we ship it. If you need it installed please leave a note and we'll put it on. There is a piece of wood that goes with the bottling bucket used to tighten/loosen the honey gate.
