A slow release thymol gel, for the treatment of Varroa Mites. This is a safe, easy to use, organic treatment. Best results occur when daily temperature is between 60-105 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the foil lid and place the container on the top bars of your hive. A 1/4" space is needed. Close off screen bottom boards. After 2 weeks, remove the first container and apply a second dose for another 2 weeks. Apiguard is a good late summer Aug./Sept. treatment after the honey flow. Though registered as a Varroa treatment, Apiguard has been proven to effectively treat tracheal mites as well. Available in packs of ten, which will treat 5 hives.
