This feeder is a great alternative to a traditional hive-top feeder. It's made of plastic and in the shape of a cake pan. It features a hole at the bottom where bees can crawl up, and a cover over the hole, so bees have less of a chance to drown. An added cover over top of the whole feeder keeps it safe for bees. 

This size fits best in an 10 frame hive, and works with a vivaldi board. You could also set it up on shims inside the hive if you do not use a vivaldi board.
