Nuc introduction boards are used to unite a nuc and a colony. Just place the plywood nuc introduction board on top of the colony you want to unite, cover it with some newspaper and then place the nuc on top. In a couple of days the colonies will be united and you can move the frames from the nuc down. This works for both 10 frame and 8 frame.
